Artist Managers



Mitchell Piper is the President of Piper Anselmi Artists Management and the Founding Artistic Director of the Siena Music Festival.  He has had an extensive career in the performing arts, ranging from performing artist, where he sang over twenty leading operatic roles in the US and Europe, to music producer, and artist manager.  Prior to establishing Piper Anselmi Artists Management, he was the Chairman of the Intermezzo Foundation, where he created and managed performance festivals in Palm Beach, FL, and Brugge, Belgium.  In 2004 he established the Elardo International vocal competition, providing cash awards and scholarships to young performing artists.  From 2002 - 2006 he served as the Chairman of Graduate Opera Performance at The Hartt School,  and as a Guest Lecturer at New York University.   His many accomplishments have positively influenced the careers of young performing artists for nearly two decades.



Filippo Anselmi is the Senior Artists Manager at Piper Anselmi Artists Management.  Since 2001, when he started as a manager with Columbia Artists Management, Filippo has been recognized as one of the top managers in the classical performance industry.  Prior to his career as an artist manager, Filippo worked as a stage director both in Italy and the United States. After graduating from  New York University, he spent ten years working as a theatre and film actor, playwright and screenwriter.
